Santorini musings
Where better to open your eyes on a honeymoon morning than the magical Greek island of Santorini? The blue domes and whitewashed houses are brushed, for but an hour, with golden light, gently waking the world for the day ahead.
Christine and Jonathan had a beautiful summertime wedding in California, which was photographed by my talented fellow film photographer, Erich Mcvey, and recently published on Once Wed. They jet-setted to Greece for their honeymoon, drawn to the island cliffs soaring above the deep blue Aegean.
I met them for a sunrise session in this spectacular setting and strolling through Oia's never as quiet streets we enjoyed the islands peaceful wake up. These honeymoon memories are a wonderful way to bottle the post-nuptial sweetness of being completely at ease, completely in love, and completely away from the cares of everyday life!

One of the coolest things about this job of mine is surely, that I get to hear all these amazing love stories! Some of them are truly magically and it makes my heart sing, because I like to believe in a bit of magic: It's likely the best ingredient for a great story and maybe - life in general. So autumn has arrived and I will get to spend some of it in one of my favorite rainy-windy countries, but whenever I need a bit of magical summer vibes, I often think of these two wonderful people.
